Salsa4fun India was born on 5th May, 2007, owned and operated by Kelsang Dolma (Kash).
The name Salsa4Fun India was very thoughtfully kept by Kash after Manlio’s School in Italy called Salsa4Fun. Salsa for her was all about coming out of the protective cocoon, expressing & feeling the joy in doing so, be it on stage or on the floor. There wasnt better name for her school.
Salsa4funIndia was created to spread the realized essence of Latin form of dance. It offers different classes during the week and weekend ranging from Cuban Salsa, Casino de rueda and social dancing. While teaching a person to acquire the Latin form of dancing, the company also grooms the participants in behavioral ethics and social respectability. We at SFI, keeping in mind the authentic contribution and also the modern styling much appreciated around the world for performance and stage, we teach Cuban style of Salsa (Casino)with a modern flair.
Kash Kelsang Dolma- Director
Kash had been always connected with Latin music since she was merely 15 but she never realized this is her source of joy and that Salsa is what she would pursue her career with. She has been working in different companies, struggling with jobs like everybody else till she discovered the passion of her life in one of the Salsa festivals held in New Delhi. Giving up job and luxury that came along was the price she paid but she is much happier and optimistic person now. She gets to travel around (which is her 2nd passion next to Salsa) to learn more on the dance form so that she can pass on the knowledge forward. She does not claim to know it all, she believes that she learns something new everyday in the class with her students but she certainly does brag that they are fed the right knowledge. Kash started by assisting at Latino Salsa Dance School at various corporates and studios. In 2007 she started her own studio and has been growing in her skills along with the School.She started her training with Pedro from Venezuella & Katya from Russia and gradually got trained under various National & International Instructors. But majorly she is grateful to Manlio from Italy for being the first one in opening their vision towards the global way of Salsa Dancing in terms of timing and understanding the music.
