Lindy Hop India Final Milonga and Film Screening
We’re very proud to announce an *exclusive pre-screening of our documentary* produced by our Association Dance Across Cultures which follows the story of Adivasi Children learning Jazz dance and ends with a swinging music video. The film is titled: ‘The Adivasi Shim Sham’. We’ll be flying to New York on the 19th of May to show the film at the Frankie 95 festival http://frankie95.com.
Monday May 11th @ Zenzi Bandra:
8pm – 9:45: Tango Musicality and Moves class
9:50pm Sharp: Film Screening followed by brief Q&A
10:15: free Tango Dance till 1am
This film is made in honor of Frankie Manning, our teacher, beloved mentor, and greatest inspiration who passed away on the 27th of April. Below you’ll find a note from the Frankie95 festival organizers.
