Raindrops Festival of Indian Classical Dance

 

Sam Ved Society for Performing Arts returns with one of Mumbai’s premier dance festivals,

Raindrops Festival of Indian Classical Dance. For over two decades, kathak dancer

Uma Dogra’s Sam Ved Society has been showcasing fine Indian classical dance talent

from India and abroad. The 21st Raindrops is dedicated to the memory of Guru Smt.

Reba Vidyarthi. Spread across two days, the festival will feature four classical styles

and performances by six talented dancers. 
July 8
: Arundhati Patwardhan (Bharatanatyam), Sreelakshmy Govardhanan (Kuchipudi) & Shashwati Garai Ghosh (Odissi)
July 9: Navia Natarajan (Bharatanatyam), Sudha Mukhopadhyay (Odissi) & Charlotte Moraga (Kathak)
