Mercy St Just is a passionate and playful performer and teacher of Burlesque and the Latin Dance style Zouk-Lambada. Mercy has taught, performed and judged Zouk-Lambada across Australia and enjoys teaching classes that are technical and entertaining, with a focus on building confidence and styling in women. As a Burlesque performer Mercy is known across the Australian Burlesque scene as a consummate performer who can be counted on to deliver a dazzling show. Described as ‘a deadly femme fatale’ and ‘Australia’s answer to Dita Von Teese’, Mercy’s film noir looks and classic 1930’s and 40’s style combine to create a performer who is the embodiment of the iconic femme fatale. Mercy uses Burlesque as a tool to bring out confidence and playfulness in her students, while focusing on building characterization, stage presence and audience connection. Her personal philosophy is based around developing a woman’s sense of self, femininity and confidence on and off the dance floor.
