DanceSport India announces all new courses for August 2010.

Our Beginners course is designed teach you all that is needed for developing social dancing skills. Right from identifying various rhythms & learning basic steps in Salsa n Latin dances ….. to developing skills of leading and following on the dance floor and social dancing etiquette.

What will the beginner course include?

3 dance forms : Salsa, Cha, Jive.

& Social dancing etiquette.

All 3 being popular for social dancing… It is best to start with these 3 as they all belong to the same category. When you learn 1 the others become even more easy. So the variety becomes fun and you are able to dance to different types of music.

Babulnath (near Chowpatty) – (A/c Studio)

Beginners Level 1 – Tue Thurs 7:30-9:00pm
Batch Starts – 3rd Aug, Tue

Fees: Rs.3000/- for 16 sessions of (1.5 hrs) =
Total 24 hrs of dancing for just 3000/-

Worli – (A/c Studio)

Beginners Level 1 – Sat & Sun 4:00-6:00pm
Batch Starts –21st Aug, Sat

Fees: Rs.3000/- for 12 sessions of (2 hrs) =
Total 24 hrs of dancing for just 3000/-

8 sessions will cover the Beginners course syllabus
and following that you can attend another set of 8 sessions for
additional practise
Simultanoeusly you can also enroll into the next level after the 1st 8 sessions.

What if I miss a class?

We always encourage students to attend extra sessions of their levels
for practise. These extra sessions are for free for all our current
batch students. After all Practice makes you perfect!

Who should attend beginners course?

Age is never a bar – So far our students belong to age groups right
from 11 yrs upto 65yrs (even beyond is welcome).

No prior dance experience is required.
2-20 left feet most welcome.

Indian couple to have represented India internationally at various
DanceSport championships and after winning a huge line of Gold n
Silver Medals for India.

Their training from countries like UK, Hungary, Hong Kong, Malaysia,
Thailand along with experience in competing for India in more than 8
countries has helped devise various programs and skilled teachers to
help everyone learn and enjoy Dancing…. be it Social or developing
into more advanced training…. you will get it all.

And all of this with personal attention as we limit our batch sizes.

This Summer…Beat the Heat…Tap Your Feet

Gear Up for a scintillating series of Latin American Dance Workshops – DanceSport Mania conducted by the International Dancing Duo, Shannon Benjamin & Dr.Priti Gupta – India’s first ever internationally trained & acclaimed DanceSport Champions.

Dancesport India, for the first time turns its regular workshops into a month long dance festival named DanceSport Mania to celebrate its 1st Anniversay.
Dancesport Mania will provide 3-4 days training in Dance forms like

English Waltz – the life of a ballroom n the queen’s favorite dance

Jive – the fun filled dance from North America

Samba- an exotic Brazilian festive dance

Cha Cha – a cheeky dance with Cuban Origin,

Salsa – the spiciest club dance with the most authentic
styles & moves,

Now the important part is that all these will be taught with very innovative techniques, new moves n choreographies for all, shines, styling n lot more
Workshops are open for all – even complete beginner batches available… so tell your friends as well!

Each workshop culminating in a mega dance party & a fun competition among the participants. Lots of prizes n opportunities for the winners & high achievers…. where as tons of fun for everybody.
