Milonga: refers both to a style of music as well as to the dance that goes with it. Milonga is faster than Tango and has an exciting rhythmical feel.

In this special 2 hour class, we’ll learn the foundations of the milonga technique, rhythms, and moves.

Javier Zuniga hailing from Lima, Peru, discovered Argentine Tango in the United States where he studied and taught Tango for many years. His great love for the subtlety of the dance, his joy to work on details and his passion for the graceful movements of Tango make him not only an excellent dancer but also a teacher that gives from his heart.

Everyone that has been on a Zenzi Tango Party recently knows Javier for his intricate footwork and elegant style. Whenever a faster “Milonga” song comes on, no one can keep themselves from stopping and turning to watch his feet playing with the music. Having Javier in Bombay until May, we grab the opportunity and present you a workshop with him.
